ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

OUR COMMITMENT

The Bagel Mill is committed to ensuring that our website, thebagelmill.com, is accessible to people with disabilities. We believe that access to information and services should be available to everyone, regardless of ability or the technology they use.

We work to conform our website to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines describe how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, motor, and speech impairments.

MEASURES WE TAKE

To support accessibility, we design and develop our site with accessibility in mind, including semantic HTML, appropriate color contrast, keyboard navigability, and text alternatives for meaningful images. We test our site with major screen readers (including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver) and across major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) on both Windows and macOS. We provide an accessibility widget that allows users to adjust aspects of the visual interface, including text size, spacing, contrast, cursor size, animations, and dyslexia-friendly typography. We review our site regularly and address accessibility issues as we identify them.

ONGOING EFFORT

Accessibility is an ongoing process. Despite our efforts, some content on our site may not yet be fully accessible, and we continue to improve. If you encounter any content or feature that is difficult to use, we want to know.
